In response to the situation created by COVID-19, Trinity has extended the usual one year overlap between syllabuses during which time candidates may offer pieces and technical work from either the 2016-2019 or 2020-2023 syllabus, but not a mixture of both. This has now been extended to 31 July 2021.

The Guitar Syllabus 2016-2019 and overlap information

The Plectrum Guitar exams and overlap information

The Guitar Syllabus 2016-2019 will remain valid until 31 December 2020, giving a one year overlap. During this time, candidates may enter for exams using the Acoustic Guitar Syllabus 2020-2023 or the plectrum guitar section of the Guitar Syllabus 2016-2019, but not a mixture of both.
